Steet Photographer Mike Pocius at Cobalt 12/13/13
King of the Chicago Street Photographers Mike Pocius brings us this year's documentation of his travels through out Chicago. The cast of characters and wild compositions were spontaneously photographed on streets of Chicago at the various parades, festivals and art walks which take place in some of his favorite neighborhoods. Some of these folks are too strange to believe. His photos speak volumes about an ever changing city exploding with life and activity.
Come see it Friday, December 13th at Cobalt 6-10.30PM.
For the night owls...We will have a post reception party around the corner at The Barrel, Chicago...Pilsen's newest addition. They will be serving all locally brewed craft beers and boast the largest Bourbon Selection available.

RIPE
A Post Modern Ceramic Exhibition
New Work by Thomas Billings
Opening Friday, October 18, Reception 5-10.
Live Music TBA
Tom Billings continuously proves himself a dedicated artful workaholic.
While participating in & co-curating exhibits in Chicago's bars, clubs, cafes, and painting: murals, street art and the like. He was also exhibiting in galleries in New York and Chicago earlier this year. Tom has simultaneously been prolific in the ceramic studio.
Tom's production of ceramics into the small hours has yielded some wonderful results. His mask series which depict Dante's Seven Deadly Sins are featured. His style yields a series of glazed masks, directly inspired from his recent painted portraits.
